First time here. Husband brought me here for my birthday. Got the all you can eat catfish we both did and my husband was asked once for more and after that she took his plates away. I on the other hand was NEVER asked and was given the bill shortly after.

Quick food, very sweet server, and great local spot to stop in for dinner. They recently switched drink options so the menu isn't correct, but you just have to listen to the server for the list. All-you-can-eat options were on the board for week nights, but we were there on a Saturday.

The restaurant is much bigger inside than it looks from the outside. I ordered chicken and dumplings, greens and brocolli. The chicken & dumplings were fluffy, filling and delicious! My boyfriend ordered a mushroom cheeseburger. Although it was too messy to pick up and eat, he just cut it up into bites. The burger was smoky, grilled perfectly and flavorful with lots of cheese and mushrooms, just how he likes it! The fries that come with their burgers were crunchy and thin which is how I like them. The portions are very generous and extremely well priced. We will being go back to try more items on their menu. You should definitely give this place a try.

Amazing food! We had pulled pork nachos, burgers and a rueben. All of it was perfect. The service was great, they were all super friendly. Highly recommended.

Took along time to get food. We did go on Wed for their buger and fries special. We were a party of 10. There were 2 other large parties there. Water taste terrible. I didnt enjoy my burger. Had funny taste to it. Others in our party enjoyed theirs. Some have been there on a few occasions

Fabulous! The food the prices and service. We’ve just discovered this place and have eaten there 4 times in the last month and half. Bathrooms and ambiance could be a little better, but food needs no improvement.

Their chicken and dumpling are phenomenal. Everybody in my family enjoyed their meal. 10/10 would recommend

First time here and the $6.50 burger deal is great. Wife and I both got bacon cheeseburgers and they were great. Will definitely be back

This location unfortunately changes hands so often that it's hard to keep up with what it is called or what it is. Hopefully Andy's Restaurant sticks because it's not bad. Service is meh and the food itself is definitely quantity over quality but I am not saying it is terrible, just that it's okay. The layout is somewhat odd & the restaurant dimly lit though each table has a touch lamp to brighten up their area, however, with the light being so close it's more overpowering than anything. Overall I'd be willing to come back & eat here again if ever in the mood.Note: Pay at the table

Great service and food will be back

We are in the area visiting a family member in the rehab unit. We stopped on 2/13-20 (for the first time). The place was clean, service was excellent and the food was great. It was so good in that we returned on 2/14-20. And once again everything was exceptional. We also took a dinner back to rehab for my sick family member. He could not stop talking about how good the catfish dinner was. Thank you so much for making our day two days in a row.

Eh. Service was good. Food was so-so. Food wasn't cold but it wasn't hot either. Seemed like maybe it was microwaved.

Went once and got the catfish dinner which was delicious. 2nd time I ate a steak and didn't care too much for it. Fish, burgers, and sandwiches, and the pulled pork nachos are delicious.

Best wings and burger in Newport, went on Saturday and they had discounted the burgers. Very much worth the price and a steal. Hit up the wings or try the Big Carolina burger for a great meal.

This local restaurant is one we love and will continue to go to. The service is great and the food is always good. It has a great family atmosphere, excellent pricing for the amount of food. We ordered boneless chops with a apple juice brown sugar dipping sauce. My daughter and I added a few drops of their apple cider vinegar and it was even more amazing! We always recommend this place to everyone we meet. Bring the kids! Background music is classic rock 'n' roll.

This was our last chance for good southern cooking as we headed back north and we were not disappointed! I ordered chicken and dumplings with turnip greens and mashed potatoes. I'm submitting this review 3 months after my meal and I can still taste those dumplings. Absolutely loved this place and am so glad we stopped.

A great choice for a Wednesday, special was hamburger anyway with fries amazing. Had a wings as well definitely another great choice. Plentiful amount of food for sure.

Hamburger Day for $6.99 cant be missed. Ordered the Carolina burger and was everything it should have been...went home and took a nap! Give it a try you'll enjoy it.

First time at Andy's. We had the Philly cheese steak and chicken & dumplings. Both meals were very good. I felt there was a large amount of food which was good because we ended up with to go boxes.

Food is really good; I have never been disappointed going there. Service is great and they have a special on their burgers every Wednesday.

We ate the Big Carolina Burger, Mushroom Swiss Burger, and Bacon Cheddar, and we also had French Onion Soup. The service was very quick and the burgers were fresh hand patted. The soup was also very good and delicious.
